SUMMER SPORT PROGRAM
The Summer Youth Program allows kids to participate in local sporting events, work on teamwork, and help them stay engaged and out of trouble. A Center for Hope, with the help of funding from Walmart’s Spark Good Local Grants, provided local teams with helmets, catcher’s equipment, gloves, baseballs, clipboards, pitching machines, bats, and water coolers. It was a good day for Coach Undray Williams and his Rolling Fork Little League team. Deborah Williams, representing the Legacy Village Enrichment Center, gifted the team with baseball gloves, catcher’s equipment and financial gift for snacks for the players. It was also a good day for Coach Tom Davis Jr. and his Anguilla Little League team. Both Coach Williams and Davis received several gifts from Mr. Delvery “Doc” Davis and the newly elected Anguilla Mayor Evelyn “Faye” Maxey, who represents the Center for Hope Non-Profit Organization.
FALL SPORT PROGRAM
A Center for Hope, with the help of funding from Walmart’s Spark Good Local Grants and Capital Group, partnered with the local youth football teams to sponsor food, snacks, and football equipment.
